Vintage fabric cushions

We get a thrill out of discovering vintage fabrics and turning them into something useful, beautiful and collectable. Sometimes we find a huge amount of fabric that's been carefully folded and stashed away in a cupboard, perhaps saved to make a frock for a special occasion, and sometimes there's just enough to make one small cushion. All cushions have different fabric, trims and button fastenings on the back to make them extra special.

These cushions are made from vintage New Zealand souvenirs. Don't dilly-dally over your favourites...each is a very special piece of kiwiana.

Kiwiana cushions (B price category)

These little beauties are made from new tea towels, each unique through their size, backing fabric, trims and buttons. They look particularly fetching in caravans, tents in the backyard and on stripey deck chairs.

Cape Reinga 2

Here's a nice, simple kiwiana cushion in grown-up, subtle colours of beige and navy. It measures about 35 x 43cm and has a denim backing with a mixture of buttons and vintage braid.
