Wouldn't it be excellent to be a bear? Picking flowers, catching butterflies, prancing with umbrellas, pulling pots of honey around, and then sitting on a sweet cushion where someone can lean on your to daydream or read books. Yes, it would be a cushy life.

Fashioned from a vintage traycloth, this sweet little cushion is backed with chocolate fabric, an applique patch and a mixture of vintage buttons. Measures 34 x 25cm.

Nasturtiums 2 (B price category)

Stripes of bubbles and nasturtium flowers are set against a sand coloured background in this quirky cushion. The fabric on the reverse is a tiny check with matching white buttons. Measures 58 x 41cm.

Cowboys and Indians 1 (C price category): This cushion made from 1950s barkcloth fabric has a tan back finished with blue vintage ric rac and a mixture of vintage buttons, approx 43 x 33cm.

Cowboys and Indians 2 (B price category): A scrap of vintage barkcloth is patched with other vintage and new fabrics, vintage ric rac and an assortment of buttons to make a cushion, sure to become a treasured heirloom of some special person. Measures 42 x 44cm.

1970s floral (C price category)

Vibrant 1970s barkcloth fabric revived into a cushion with wool check fabric and an assortment of vintage buttons on the back. Just perfect for a caravan or bach. Measures 55 x 47cm.

Yellow roses with ferns (B price category)

This fabric is so evocative of bygone days. The barkcloth fabric features a pattern of yellow roses and ferns with an old gold coloured metalic squiggle and is teamed with a back of mid-brown cotton and a mixture of vintage buttons. Measures 33cm square.

Frou frou dog (B price category)

If only we could thank the designer who produced this fabric that makes such a silly and fun cushion. The vintage barkcloth is still in great condition and the peach, pink and lime colours are gorgeous together. Backed with soft vintage linen, vintage ric rac, and a fab assortment of red, green and brown buttons. Two designs available, each measures 39cm square.

1950s strawberries (B price category)

Summertime is strawberry picking time. The strawberry print is new cotton fabric and this cushion is backed with a lovely plain vintage fabric, vintage cotton braid and a mixture of vintage fabric. Measures 40cm square.

Gorgeous vintage fabric in vibrant blues backed with navy cotton fabric, vintage braid and an assortment of vintage buttons. Measures 38cm square.

Wildflowers (B price category)

This English-style floral cushion is made from vintage fabric in honey colours and backed with lemon fabric and opaque buttons. Measures about 52 x 55cm.

Basket of roses (C price category)

A tea towel like this would certainly make having to do the dishes more appealing, but it's even better as a cushion. It's backed with a soft linen, vintage ric rac and a mixture of vintage buttons.

Daisies and umbrellas 2 (B price category)

This cushion is such a honey. Gorgeous vintage cotton fabric in bright red, lime and blue is finished with a lime checked back and vintage opaque buttons. Measures 47 x 45cm.

Teal roses (B price category)

We were lucky enough to find a fairly large piece of this vintage fabric and it's still one of our favourites. The colour combination of teal, orange and dark brown are so unusual and it's a good print for someone who's not into a frothy, blowsy floral. This cushion measures about 47 x 53cm and is backed with plain brown cotton with an interesting texture and opaque buttons.

This souvenir tea towel must have been bought on holiday and tucked neatly in a drawer to be saved for a special occasion that never came. I'm so happy to have turned it into a beautiful, sweet cushion in colours of peppermint, coal and lemon and measures 51 x 25cm. Maybe it was just too good to be a humble tea towel and the original owner it was destined for better things......

Reproduction 1950s floral fabric backed with sky blue backing, a handsewn yoyo, vintage pink ric rac and an assortment of pink and white buttons. Awww, cute. Measures about 45cm square.

Toasted sandwiches (C price category)

Magnificent vintage fabric transformed into a cushion measuring approx 48 x 46cm. The cherry backing fabric is trimmed with cotton braid with apples and a mixture of brown, red and white buttons. Yum. Two available.
